Innovative Foundation Repair was founded by Michael Garris, a born-and-raised Texan with over 20 years of experience in the foundation repair industry. The company has been serving Texas homeowners and businesses for nearly 20 years, and today serves 70+ cities across North Texas, San Antonio, and Waco.
We handle slab foundation repair using concrete pressed pilings and deep steel piers, pier & beam foundation repair (including re-leveling and reinforcing crawl spaces and block-and-base foundations), drainage solutions such as French drains and surface drains, and root barrier installation to protect foundations from tree root damage — a common issue in Texas's expansive clay soils.

Our process has four steps. First, you request an inspection by calling or submitting a quick form and telling us what you're noticing. Next, a certified technician visits your property, examines the foundation, and walks you through what they find. Then we review the findings and repair options with you clearly, with no pressure to decide on the spot. Once you're ready, our crew completes the repair, backed by warranty protection.

Our most comprehensive protection is a lifetime warranty covering foundation repairs for the life of the home, with any workmanship issues addressed at no additional cost. Pier & beam work carries its own protections too: a 10-year warranty on pad and block pier & beam foundations, and a 3-year warranty on all reshims for pier & beam adjustments.
Yes, our lifetime warranty is transferable, which can be a meaningful selling point if you list your home later — it's one of the reasons real estate agents and investors in our service areas often bring us in ahead of a sale.
